Burnout 3 Car Guide - Super Series
Compact Series | Muscle Series | Coupe Series | Sports Series | Super Series | Special Series | Heavyweights
These are the fastest, meanest and best cars in the game. The speed increase is massive and the cars are pushed out into a totally new league of their own. Also, the Supers feature possibly, the greatest car Burnout has to offer. The Super Prototype. Make sure you look out for it.
Super Type 1

“Hello, This is where the cars start to get fast” That’s what this car said to me. But it also said “Although I’m good, I’m not the best. Look at me as a preview of what is about to come” Nice car handles well drifts better then most of the previous cars. Nice for a test run.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Super Series
Weight: 3
Overall: An indication of things to come, Very nice
Colours: Red/Blue/Black
Rating: 7/10
Super Type 2

The super type two feels like the proper car that type one should have been. It’s fast, slick but fails to impress in the takedown test. Racing with this car is, unfortunately , over shadowed by the hopes of what is to come, because this is an awesome car but still only a type.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Super Series
Weight: 1
Overall: Basically, much the same as type 1
Colours: Black/Red/Blue
Rating: 7/10
Super Type 3

Step back form the other two cars and you feel rather cheated on. The car has speed and is able to takedown other car, moderately. The area the car lacks is not control, but the steering. It feels stiff, but if you try hard it is possible to gain full control of it, however the effort you put in is more then what other cars need
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Super Series
Weight: 2
Overall: If you want a harder car to drive in the type, use this
Colours: Red/Blue/Black
Rating: 6/10
Tuned Super

Despite the sound of the car being like I have a wasp stuck in your ear, the car is very impressive…for a Tuned car. The handling is somewhat easy but maybe a bit too light. Drifts like it’s towing a dead horse . Apart from that it’s an average car.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Win Continental Run Race 2
Weight: 2
Overall: Best off using the Types
Colours: Red/Black/Blue
Rating: 5/10
Modified Super

The car looks like the bat mobile in my opinion but less of looks more of the car. It drifts pretty well despite it less then average handling. Altogether a good car but not perfect; lacks any weight to it as well, causing it to spin and wrecks any opportunity to takedown.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Win Continental Run Face-Off 2
Weight: 2
Overall:
Colours: Black/Red/Blue
Rating: 6/10
Custom Super

Even though the car is heavy it is rubbish at takedowns. The area this car makes up in, greatly, is the handling. If you can get into poll position with this car the chances are you wont be overtaken unless you crash, which is also unlikely as control is the best part of the car.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Win 100,000 Burnout points
Weight: 3
Overall: Brilliant Racer, fails at takedowns
Colours: Red/Blue/Black
Rating: 8/10
Assassin Super

Such an amazing car it is hard to put into words. The car excels in every field, with extra credit going to its ability to takedown rivals, like all the other assassins. Not only is it brilliant at destroying others dreams but also a fantastic racer guaranteed to get you winning gold every time.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Win 25 Gold Medals
Weight: 2
Overall: A good all round car
Colours: Red/Black/Blue
Rating: 9/10
Super Prototype

This car is what make Burnout 3 complete. Straight off the start line this car is overwhelmingly impressive . The car is fast, responsive and the single greatest car for takedowns in the entire game. Once you’ve unlocked this car, chances are you you’ll never use another car again.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Win Frozen Peak Face-Off 2
Weight: 2
Overall: The perfect car. The best car. The only car
Colours: Blue/White/Black
Rating: 10/10
Super DX

Another brilliant car capable of smashing its way through anything that gets in its way. The one, and only, thing which stops this car getting 10 is that it feels too heavy on the road, causing it to be ever-so slightly delayed when turning. It isn’t a big deal but unfortunately lets the car down slightly.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Win 25 Gold Medals
Weight: 3
Overall: Much like the Prototype; A great car
Colours: Blue/Red/Black
Rating: 10/10
Dominator Super

The 2mph speed difference between this and the DX is very clear. It feels faster. The only problem with it is that the car lacks control. Despite being brilliant at taking down cars when traveling at very high speeds, the car is almost guaranteed to crash when shunting at speeds lower then 180mps.
Top Speed: 205mph
When Avaliable: Win Alpine Face-Off
Weight: 2
Overall: Great for racing, avoid battling
Colours: Black and Orange
Rating: 8/10
