Burnout 3 Car Guide - Special Series
Compact Series | Muscle Series | Coupe Series | Sports Series | Super Series | Special Series | Heavyweights
The special cars are cars which don't fit into the other series. A few of the cars are welcome returns for previous burnout games, others not so welcome. The other cars are true races, built for speed.
Oval Racer Special

A welcome return form burnout 2 the oval race is clearly a car not to mess with. It towers over all the other cars making it awesome for those road race events. The controls are fine but it tends to overdraft sometimes making you panic to get it back straight again.
Top Speed: 200mph
When Avaliable: All Signature Takedowns
Weight: 2
Overall: A welcome return from Burnout 2
Colours: Red/Black/Blue
Rating: 7/10
Custom Coupe Ultimate

Not the best car to be ripped from Burnout 2 but it makes a great little run around playing online. The car handles well and drifts well but is impossible to take rivals down in, properly because it wasn’t at all designed to.
Top Speed: 190mph
When Avaliable: Win All Crash Gold Medals
Weight: 2
Overall: Nothing too special about this car.
Colours: Green
Rating: 6/10
Euro Circuit Racer

Lightning speeds mixed with acute handling add up to this being the car which is a must to unlock. It lacks slightly in the takedown department but takedowns aren’t necessary when driving this car to keep the lead.
Top Speed: 209mph
When Avaliable:Win All Takedown Trophies
Weight: 2
Overall: Just like the Super prototype, takes second place though
Colours: Red/Blue/Black
Rating: 10/10
Classic Hot Rod

When Burnout 3 was made I don’t think they intended to include this monstrosity in the game. I think the Hot Rod sneaked in unknown to the makers. The car has absolutely nothing to offer apart from you to laugh at it. If anyone knows how to control this car, PLEASE tell me.
Top Speed: 190mph
When Avaliable: Win all special event postcards
Weight: 3
Overall: Fun to laugh at, that's about it though.
Colours: Black
Rating: 0/10
US Circuit Racer

If you don’t know already, F1 cars are not built for takedowns and is the worst possible choice for a road rage even or even a race. It is perfect, however, for those burning laps and time attack events. Apart form speed nothing else is good about this car and the acceleration is “moody” to say the least.
Top Speed: 209mph
When Avaliable: Gold in Super GP
Weight: 1
Overall: Will be destroyed in a pushy race
Colours: Red/Blue/Black
Rating: 7/10
World Circuit Racer

Yet again a car that would be destroyed in a road rage or race. Once again it is good for Time Attacks and Burning Laps. The biggest difference between this car and the USCR is the handling is so much more improved and really id the best car for high speed, lone, racing.
Top Speed: 202mph
When Avaliable: Collect All Race Gold Medals
Weight: 3
Overall: Same as USCR but with better handling.
Colours: Blue/Red/Yellow
Rating: 9/10
