Burnout 3 Car Guide - Muscle Series
Compact Series | Muscle Series | Coupe Series | Sports Series | Super Series | Special Series | Heavyweights
The Muscle series is the baby speeders. They're fast and heavy and wont let anything stand in their way. After the heavyweights, the muscle series is the best for those crash events.
Muscle Type 1

This is the trademark car for burnout 3 and it is fantastic to drive. It’s weight makes it good for taking down the toughest of opponents whilst maintaining high speeds. The handling is perfect and keeping control after being shunted isn’t too hard. I also think it is one of the sexiest car in the game.
Top Speed: 165mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Muscle Series
Weight: 5
Overall: A heavy car perfect for those road rages
Colours: Black/Red/Yellow
Rating: 7/10
Muscle Type 2

The Muscle Type 2 is defiantly a racing car and not built for takedowns or lots of fighting on the track. The Type 2 doesn't stand a chance in a takedown battle against the type 1 which it is often paired with. Best off keeping this car for races and try to avoid confrontation with other cars, especially Type 1
Top Speed: 167mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Muscle Series
Weight: 2
Overall: Built for the race but not the rage.
Colours: Black/Blue/Red
Rating: 4/10
Muscle Type 3

The best of the Muscle Types. The car is responsive to a point of bliss. The small size of the car allows it to weave through traffic without a care in the world. You’d think the car would be an easily takedown but the control you have over the car prevents that and allows a pre emptive attack on every fool to get in your way
Top Speed: 165mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Muscle Series
Weight: 2
Overall: A nice "Get to know" car
Colours: Red/Black/White
Rating: 8/10
Tuned Muscle

What a disappointment this car is. The handling is terrible and over responsive. The weight of the car is like a feather so it isn’t hard for others to take you down but taking them down is difficult. This car is a racer and should only be used for tracks with lots of straights.
Top Speed: 165mph
When Avaliable: Gold in Kings of the Road Race
Weight: 2
Overall: Avoid this on any track that has a cornor
Colours: Red/Black/White
Rating: 4/10
Modified Muscle

Although this car looks nice I doesn’t have anything to offer that is special or in someway gives character to the car. Handles averagely and takedowns are nothing to write about so I’ll stop here.
Top Speed: 165mph
When Avaliable: Win Mountain Parkway Face off 1
Weight: 3
Overall: Like driving in you grandparents car.
Colours: Blue/Red/White
Rating: 2/10
Custom Muscle

Much like the Type 1 however not as good. It still has a lot of weight behind and takes a lot for someone to take you down. However the handling is no where near as good as the Type 1 so your better off not using this but going for the Type 1 instead.
Top Speed: 165mph
When Avaliable: Win 25,000 burnout points
Weight: 5
Overall: The same as type 1 but worst handling
Colours: Red/Yellow/Blue
Rating: 2/10
Assassin Muscle

A fantastic car for takedowns at high speed. The Assassin lives up to its name yet again. The car is light however very sturdy taking a lot of force to knock you out the way into a wall or oncoming traffic
Top Speed: 169mph
When Avaliable: Get 30 Total Takedowns
Weight: 2
Overall: Best car for takedowns in the series
Colours: Blue/ Red/Black
Rating: 7/10
Muscle Prototype

“size doesn't matter” This car makes that sentence make true to the bone. The Muscle prototype has just stolen my top takedown record and I couldn’t be happier. The car handles like a saint and can take down even the Assassin with ease.
Top Speed: 163mph
When Avaliable: Win Mountain Parkway Face off 2
Weight: 2
Overall: Brilliant car, perfect in every way
Colours: Blue/Red/Black
Rating: 10/10
Muscle DX

Once again a good car. The steering is fine along with the drifting ability. The car is less sturdy then the prototype but that just adds to the fun of racing it.
Top Speed: 165mph
When Avaliable: Win 10 gold medals
Weight: 3
Overall: A Prototype replacement
Colours: Silver/Black/Red
Rating: 8/10
Dominator Muscle

Much like the Dominator Compact; too much speed and not enough control. The car is very fast though and if your looking for speed then use it but don't expect to control it very well..
Top Speed: 170mph
When Avaliable: Win Lakeside Getaway face off 2
Weight: 2
Overall: Speed rich, handles poor
Colours: Black and Orange
Rating: 4/10
