Operation Burnout Forums: DJPlayedYA - Viewing Profile

Now that I have absolutely no interest in racing or competing on Burnout, I figured I'd come clean on all my names. So here they are: (Some may surprise you...)

YouCANBeetMe- created when people were making a lot of fake DJ names. I thought if I created a spinoff of my own second account, then people wouldn't think it was me...I was wrong...lol This was simply to steal points off cheaters.

xXSunGoddessXx- created to see how many good racers I could beat in a pink Oval Champ. It was hilarious to hear racers yelling. Later on, I started racing in the RaiJin. Hearing banless talk about my driving while racing was absolutely priceless!

UrBestNightmare- created after I became #1 while the race freezing was going on. After I passed KB, a bunch of my racing friends told me to stop there to piss him off, so I got bored and created this one. Later on, I used it to race for times.

DJPlayedYA4Times- created obviously to race for route times.

Javier_Bartell- created to see how fast I could become #1 in the world. Got to Top 100 in 13 races. Got to Top 5 within 60 races. And somewhere around 120 races I got to #1. Despite what people have previously ranted about this name, everything was 100% fair and square. I never raced high ranked racers with a bad rank. When I did start racing with them, I was already in the Top 20. Everytime in the past when I made a 2nd account, people would immediately know it was me. I figured people would know it was me on this name, but I guess no one figured it out because of the GB country code.

im-canadian-eh- created to steal points off of DaveBouwmeister, Zako_94, and that one guy who always raced Around Paradise on boost limit 1.

So there they all are. Sorry if I pissed anyone off while using these names. Honestly, after playing this game for two or three thousand hours, things got dull and I needed to make it interesting again. Racing on DJ, I basically had a target on my back in all races. So it was nice to use these names and be somewhat anonymous.

Just like the title says. I'll post later when I know what's included.

I've been kicked off the Criterion server a couple times now. Some of my European friends keep going offline then online. And I can't play with certain European friends. I can easily join in on certain rooms, then when I make my own room and send invites, they say they can't join.

Is anyone else having these kinds of problems?

My question to those who know a bit more about programming and design and such is that if they can go back and fix the problem for the Nighthawk boost chain trophy, wouldn't this mean that they have the capability to have gone back in the first place and make all trophies retroactive? I mean I see apples to apples here: I do a 3x boost chain in the Nighthawk and get my trophy...what's the difference then to doing three billboard smashes and getting a trophy? We've already done 3x boost in the Nighthawk, so why couldn't the others have been retroactive too?

This is by no means a rant. I'm honestly just trying to figure this out in my head, but I barely know anything about game programming.

Wouldn't it be nice if Microsoft and Sony did this for Burnout? Perhaps on the PS3 side, they could delete all of the user's trophies just for Burnout or their whole collection altogether...depending on the severity of the cheating.
