The awards of the 85th Oscar have been announced and both the prize-winners and audiences screamed for it. Everyone who likes watching movies absolutely won’t miss all the perfect Oscar movies such as Life of Pi, Lincoln, Argo, Silver Linings Playbook and Les Misérables. You may have DVDs of the movies you like. However, you know it’s not easy to store the DVD because it may be scratched, damaged or even completely unusable over time. So we can backup the DVD movies to your mobile devices like iPhone for preventing the bad situation. Even you can choose the parts you like to watch for saving time. Now I will teach you how to backup the Oscar DVD movies on iPhone 5 as a sample step by step. To start the backup, first you need to download iFunia DVD Ripper for Mac. Here is the tutorial:
Step 1: Add DVD files to iFunia DVD Ripper.
Insert your DVD disk and click “Add DVD” button to add the movies you like. This may take up a minute or two depending on the contents of the DVD and speed of your optical drive.

Step 2: Select output format.
Choose iPhone as output format from Output Format list. Such as “iPhone 5 (1080p) H.264 Video(*.mp4)”. If you want to optimize the quality of your output videos, you can click “Settings” to reset movie parameters: resolution, bitrate, frame rate, sample rate and channel.

There are optional functions for iFunia DVD Ripper users before the conversion. Just select the title you’d like to edit, then click the button “Edit” to launch movies editing window.

Step 4: Start ripping.
Click the button “Start” to begin ripping the Oscar movies to your iPhone 5.

Tips: If you are using the unregistered version, you just have the five minutes of the movie to convert. You need to register it as a full-version to remove this limitation.
