Sequel? What sequel? Why bother?

Well not all the DLC is for everyone. For example, as much as I'd like it, the Party Pack is an illogical purchase because I don't have many friends or mates coming over to my place. Thus it'd be a waste, thus I don't buy it.
On the other hand, I'm a huge BTTF fan, so I bought the 88 Special without even thinking. Huge value for money as far as my use of it goes.

If you like Burnout Paradise, how could you not want a sequal???
Burnout Paradise is getting old. A lot of people buy the DLC, spend £8 and play the game for about week, and then they're back to their other games. Whereas if criterion made a new game, they'd spend £35, they'd play for months, and if it was as good as Paradise, which it should, and probably would be, then you'd get another series of DLC, and more 'extentions'. How could you not want that???? A new game gives the oppertunity for criterion to create anything far beyond DLC. There could be a map twice as big. 16 players online. 5 new games modes. 100 more cars. 500 new challenges - all of which you just won't get throught DLC.

I feel that if you added another place to paradise then we aren't going to get the good cars at the lower end as the just wouldnt be used as you have these faster cars etc. I see if a sequel you would have all that progression again, if they could do another place yet only have certain boost groups open at the different level of licence i think that would be a good compremise

IGN and some other companies have already been hinting at a project called "Burnout Next"
It's just a generic thing to mean they expect a new Burnout game at some point. It's meaningless. It's just like when you see a release date of March 31st. No, it's not the actual release date. March 31st is the last day of the fiscal year, so it's to say that it'll be out by the end of the fiscal year.
