I'm not sure why, but I'm starting to want a Pioneer with the Opus' paint job.

Or, a Rai-Jin with the look of the Hawker Mech (and the switchable boost, of course, but keep the Rai-Jin's stats the same)

Do my eyes deceive me or does that Target Uberschall have a different body styling than the original Uberschall? The nose looks rounder. Other than that Extreme Annihilator and the Hawker Mech, it looks like the only one that is more than just a change in livery (granted, the Hawker Mech is a change in concept, too).

Sure that Annihilator looks good, but it just doesn't go far enough to be concidered "extreme" in my eyes.
Glad they scrapped that and made something truely extreme!
Now that I look at it, the Target Uber8 does look much different than the regular versions.

Sure, I wasn't trying to name it as such as much as I was commenting on the description another poster made, speculating that it was possibly supposed to be the counterpart of the Mech in the Boost Specials instead of the Hot Rod.

I like the extreme hotrod more ;)

but it could be true, it doesn't look like a sponsor car

Perhaps we could have a better look if we can find a way to extract the data from the game files (The Target Ubershall and the Reliable textures are in-game, the others could be there somewhere).

Until then, your method is great. I would help out, but Paradise doesn't work on my PC.

For us console players (and PC, too, I'm assuming), the sponsor cars were not downloaded, correct? In other words, people weren't taken to the PSN store or XBL marketplace after putting in the codes, correct? That would mean that these cars are in the game on the disc (or in the PSN game), not just the textures. I wonder if anyone has broached the idea of creating a trainer to unlock them, or for us console users, a save editor to do the job. I'm not the genius to make it happen, so it won't be coming from me. However, I know that game saves from previous consoles could be edited for increased health or items or to unlock something; I simply wonder if something similar could be done for BP.

Imagine people with that Target Uber driving around, and others asking, "How did you get that car?", and the response would be, "Hehe, my secret."

its quite fun doing that. i remember when i used to drive the Carson GT i would have people ask me how i got Bumblebee. Or someone asked about the carbon uberschall and i said you have to drive 800 miles in reverse in one go. for like an hour everyone else in the room was doing it. quite sad really.

@thesios you could hex edit the saves.. But I suck at doing that, but let's try tommorow with a PS3 save :)
