As predicted by a regular Operation Burnout forum member, IceyDragon, the first downloadable content which EA promised Dominator fans comes in the form of a new track, Carnival Point. /news/dominator-trackpack.jpgEA have rolled out the new downloadable track for the PSP version of Burnout Dominator which is available through the official website. Details on how to download and install the track are listed below and can also be found on EA's Burnout Dominator site. Links to download the track are at the end of this post.

Update method 1 PSP wireless connection

Required Items

• Wireless internet access

Download Procedure

• Select "Burnout HQ" from the Burnout Dominator menu and choose "Download Tracks".
• Connect to the wireless access point as prompted.
• Select the "Carnival City" track and download as required.

Update method 2 - using a PC (no wireless connection)

Required Items

• A PSP™ (PlayStation™Portable) system with battery pack and AC adaptor
• Memory Stick Duo® media with at least 15 MB of free space
• Internet access
• A commercially available USB A<-> Mini-B (5-pin) cable

Download procedure

• Prepare to save the update data on Memory Stick Duo® by connecting the PSP™ system to the PC using a commercially available USB cable.
• Browse to the Setup menu on the PSP™ system and select option "USB MODE"
• Using your PC, browse to the folder named "PSP" on the Memory Stick Duo® media.
• Using your PC, browse to the folder named "SAVEDATA" in the "PSP" folder on the Memory Stick Duo® media.
• Download the Carnival track pack archive and unzip the entire folder called "ULES00703DOWNLOAD-1" into the "SAVEDATA" folder.

Notice You must save the downloaded data as noted in these instructions. If you do not save in the correct location and with all relevant files in the track pack folder, Burnout Dominator will not recognize the Carnival City track update.
