EA brought it up last year but just sort of on the side amidst a cadre of other proposed titles.

Do you think they're having Criterion working on it or is it more of a "putting it out there" sort of thing with no actual development taking place?

Yeah, there probably working on it, just minimal with Davis including Night Time and Bikes, and Eastwood with the Island, there gonna make one, but they are probably gonna focus on Expanding Paradise First instead of charging another 60 $ For a new game when an update with new content makes it Feel like a good game.

You'd think so but I always thought Criterion was too small a studio to split their attention in so many different directions.

Well, this topic has been close to a year since it got a reply but I think it's perfectly valid in the here and now as well (maybe even moreso since now we've gotten all of Criterion's promised DLC).

So I think a bump would not be so bad.

wow huge bump, wow what a n00b I was there ^^^
I think criterion is working hard on NFS now and a another part of CG is working on a future burnout game.

Well to me it would make more sense for the main portion of Criterion works on NFS while a smaller portion works on Paradise DLC, thus keeping their older game alive.

If you would've asked me any time during the Year of Paradise and the first half of 09, even now, I would've said "No way", because the DLC was the most important thing, they weren't even thinking about the next game because they were coming up with ideas for Paradise.
