Burnout 3 Car Guide - Coupe Series
Compact Series | Muscle Series | Coupe Series | Sports Series | Super Series | Special Series | Heavyweights
The coupes are unfortunatly the worst series in the game. All the cars lack the magic touch of the other series. Nevertheless there are some good cars to choose from, this is really going to help you.
Coupe Type 1

Having the ability to drift without touching the break isn't an advantage when racing and this car proves it perfectly. The car is pretty bad when it comes to turning or trying to take someone down. The speed isn't brilliant so it is not the best car to use try the type 2 instead
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Coupe Series
Weight: 2
Overall: Handling is poor so your better of using
Colours: Blue/White/Red
Rating: 4/10
Coupe Type 2

The drifting is easy and getting round corners isn't a problem. The car feels massive however doesn't seem to shadow the other cars nevertheless the size is slightly bigger then the other cars in the series making it good for taking rivals down but also makes you a rather attractive target for them.
Top Speed: 170mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Coupe Series
Weight: 3
Overall: An all round good car. Size is a good thing
Colours: Red/White/Blue
Rating: 6/10
Coupe Type 3

The best Type car if you can learn how to handle it. The handling is a major problem though, especially if our new to the car. After a few races and you've learned how to handle the car without spinning it, it still isn't very good, the steering is very loose causing you to spin the car or turn to early for corners
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Unlocking the Coupe Series
Weight: 2
Overall: Best type car
Colours: Blue/White/Red
Rating: 6/10
Tuned Coupe

I'm not a fan of the Tuned cars. This car is no exception . However the car is still good. Handling and drifting is good but not special. Altogether the car is nothing special but very useable should you need to use it
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Win Vineyard Face off
Weight: 2
Overall: A good car but pretty boring
Colours: Blue/Black/Red
Rating: 7/10
Modified Coupe

An impressive car with an amazing ability to takedown rival cars at top speeds. Drifting is a slight problem however isn't major. Handling is easy allowing you to smash up the opposition leaving a trail of destruction behind you.
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Gold in Alpine Race
Weight: 2
Overall: Very stubborn when turning
Colours: Black/Blue/Red
Rating: 7/10
Custom Coupe

It's not just me but this car seems very “accident prone” The handling is bad but you don't realise this until your last position in a race and then find out you 30 seconds behind due to T-Boning wall so much. Avoid using this car to avoid pitiful times
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Win 50,000 Burnout points
Weight: 2
Overall: Un-driveable
Colours: Red/Blue/Black
Rating: 2/10
Assassin Coupe

Q. “How do You Take The Fun Out of Road Rage?”
A. Drive this car. The assassin Coupe is the most boring car in the game. It feels sluggish and is basically boring to drive. However the “Assassin” lives up to being a good bully on the track and takedowns are guaranteed
Top Speed: 170mph
When Avaliable: Get 60 Total Takedowns
Weight: 3
Overall: Same old Assassin, but boring as hell
Colours: White/Blue/Black
Rating: 4/10
Coupe Prototype

Prototypes never fail to impress. Such an excellent can and easily the best Coupe there is. However the worst Prototype. The car is big and clumpy just like the other coupes. Nevertheless the handling is good and it isn't too heavy.
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Win Continental Run Face-Off 1
Weight: 2
Overall: Best Coupe to offer.
Colours: Red/Black/Blue
Rating: 8/10
Coupe DX

Drifting into walls is easy when you use the DX. The slightest move and you've T-Boned something much like the Custom Coupe. There is no way to ignore that this is an appalling car and if you can handle it then you must have a hell of a lot of patients to learn how to.
Top Speed: 175mph
When Avaliable: Win 18 Gold Medals
Weight: 2
Overall: Avoid at all costs
Colours: Blue/Red/Black
Rating: 2/10
Dominator Coupe

Average car but sucks at taking other cars down. Nice and fast which makes it perfect for those long races. Drifts and handles well and seems to be the smallest coupe in the series.
Top Speed: 180mph
When Avaliable: Win Frozen Peak Face-Off 1
Weight: 2
Overall: Great for racing, avoid battleing
Colours: Black and Orange
Rating: 6/10
